Supercharger Belt

hey does anyone know the part numbers for a supercharger and alternator belt for a 87 levin gt-z (same as bazdas). toyota wont give them to me due to "privacy" issues. any help would be greatly appreciated.

standard (for now) but i really need the belt the old ones are screwed just short of money and i can get them cheap at repco ($20)

it's a 5pkXXX cant remember the numbers, i think something like 5pk975 could be 980 i cant remember, u shoudl take off the old one and it should say on it, if not cut it in half and measure it.

its shorter than a 5pk 980 but i cant remember exactl.
i only remember the brlts ya run with the bigger pulleys

take it into BNT just off wairau rd (north shore, auckland), they've got a measuring thing. you just put the belt around it, they stretch it out and it tells you the length. they've usually got some pretty good prices on stuff like that as well (better than repco unless you've got a hook up). of course the measuring things no good if your belts all heat warped (been there, siezed water pump on a jeep cherokee, hell of a job) but you can run a piece of string around the pulleys to get the length right, thats all the numbers stand for, the length (in mm if i remember correctly).

yea its too worn to read and i dont want to cut it off till i get the new belt so i can actualy drive the car. does anyone know exactly i dont wanna go out and buy 3 different types and have then not work

I replaced mine 3 months ago, that is the belt if you have the stock pulley

o ok chur bro. hey you wouldnt know the part numbers for the alternator belt and there is another one i think that drives the alternator pully off the supercharger one??!?! if anyone knows the part numbers for these please post em..... chur.

ive got a MAP ZE and the other two belts are different to AFM ZEs so sorry bro cant help ya.

they can give you the numbers they are just playing with you balls man
if they still dont want to give u the numbers ask to see the belt " please note have a pen handy" and write the part number down when looking at the belt
hey i done it for my wheel bearing toyotas $$$$ was 80 something dollars retail i ask to have a look at the bearing and took the bearing numbers and got the exact same bearing for $20 there are ways around it but buy rites and the consumers act they can give it to you

yea bro i thought of that but they said they have to order them in and then they reckon that i have to pay like 25% before they ordered them....so i swore and i cursed and told the guy to shove his privacy up his ass and twist it sidways....they told me to leave
