why not put a 3T with twin carbs in it. The silver KE30 in town that i sold to my brother has a worked 3t with twincarbs all certed, got abit of power.
looks quite easy to put in. or in better terms try a 4age conversion!

2t in ke30

It's not that bad to put 2t in, I put a 2tb with hydraulic clutch set-up in my KE35. Not sure if ke30 have the two studs with nuts coming out into the engine bay from the pedal box like 35, all i did was cut and filed out the area between the two bolts almost like it was supposed to have hydraulic master cyl. ( i think some of the 35's had 2ts in them but don't quote me on that). Removed pedal box and put longer bolts for the master cylinder and a plate to bolt to (plate to strengthen firewall). Get the full hydraulics off a TE71 sprinter, I did that and bolted the bracket for the flexi hose to the chassis rail on drivers side. It all has passed cert no worries. Gearbox mount: all you have to do is locate two holes already in place about 50-100mm back from original mounts for k40,50. These are sealed up but easy enough to remove it. Use T50 mount that bolts to the box and K series mount to bolt to floor, slight filing needed to fit the rubber mount in but that's about it. You will need to make up a bracket to go from the master cylinder to TE71 clutch pedal bend some flat steel at a right angle and another bend just up from it so it looks like a step. Haven't got access to a camera so i can't send you any pics yet
