help ze gearbox

hi

ive tried searching for the answer but theres seems to be no straight out yes or no

i have a ae82 fxgt thats running mint and is my daily drive which i race every now and again as my race cars on the forever buld time

i also have a 4agze sittin in my garage next to my project car but is not being used in the project

will the ze bolt straight in and up to the ae82 origanal gearbox and mounts

as it my daily drive i dnt want it to be of the road for long at all

can any one please tell me yes or no??

Im pretty sure they the ze will bolt up to any 4age box, but how long it will last is another question- specially if ya occasionally race it.

Yes they will mate straight up.

No the standard FXGT gearbox won't last long :lol:

Would be fun seeing how long it DID last though ... as long as you're not bothered by having to look for another gearbox down the track :wink:

it will bolt straight up,
u will need a 4age flywheel and clutch as the ze one wont fit in the 4age bellhousing.

u will need to run the ze computer and loom, unless u modify the ge one

its easy..

Do a search on this but I think I have read that the rear mount is different and/or the firewall needs a bit of attention (carefully with a hammer).
As I said do a search. It could be on one of the oz 4age sites.
