AE85.6 wrote:possibly oil condition too? when i still had my AE92 my mate had a 20v and we used to grudge race all the time, although we both religiously let our cars warm up etc neither really used any oil but i noticed if i drove it hard when the oil was past due for a change it did use a little no smoke thou. my mate also said the same thing at a different time, i guess if your oil gets too old it will prob loose its properties and vicousity and breakdown or thin out a bit to much, cause after an oil change it never did it again, but i dunno how much oil yours is going through and if it is blowing smoke then ye probably something else, does it do it when you start it ??? cause just before i sold my old levin i noticed that if it had been sittin for a couple days the next time i started it, it puffed a little blue/white cloud only for a second but didnt do it when you were driving i think that one was a worn stem seal and oil was just seaping past it when there was no oil pressure although someone will prob correct me
