how to remove interior air vent for AE101 trueno...??

i want to take it off and paint it different colour... and i try to take it off with a screwdriver but i break the side...
has anyone done it befor ??

Yeah to get them out I just used a butter knife If I remember correctly.
The clips that hold them in can be real tricky to get around. Try either lifting the clip tabs up or prying them down, one of them should work.
Take your time , you dont want to bend or damage them, I broke the middle vent cuz I used a bit too much force.
Just spend a bit more time on them trying different tools.
