AE86 side skirts same as AE92 ?

Postby AE85.6 » Thu May 06, 2004 11:34 pm

just wandering they look the same are they different lengths or anything ??? i heard that AE92 ones will fit AE85/6s but you have to cut a small bit off them otherwise the door touches them ??? anyone fitted AE92 skirts to their 85 or 86 ???

cheers

if you have the 2004 nzpc year book then TINYZ car has them, they dont look to bad (his looks to be painted matt black with a can in the photos) but AE85/6 look better with them than without anything

mine where actually ae101, althought i only seem to have 1 left on the car now  , i painted them with a spray on underbody seal because i put them on the day b4 the shoot and couldnt be arsed sanding them :P , by the way ae101 are about 100mm to long although still very easy to fit, but fibre glass smashes easy when you try to drive up on the horse track at puke...

i personally dont like the look of the ae101 sideskirts on tinys (no offence) need to keep the squarish look to the car rather than the curvyness of ae101 skirts,

*hmmmm wonders if my fxgt ones will fit my trueno*

The sideskirts from mitzi cordia's fit well and look quite good. Thier two piece and can be trimmed without compromise to fit perfectly.

i've got some fibreglass skirts that were on an AE82 and they seemed like they would fit on my AE85 ok, just needed a bit or a trim where the door opened but i think that was cos they so big
