hay my mate has a ke30 and his old mans just sold him a 302 that were gona try and get into it.we got the 9 inch rear,the mota making round 400hp and they work at a welding company.if neone has ne info on this swap wot needs to be done mounts wot to move and wot is the best 5 speed box to use (thinking supra or celica) could u plz email me or add me to msn docha_8_u@hotmail.com the car will be used for circut and drag racing

drag racing i can see happening but it'll handle like a torpedo with all that weight in the front of such a small car, circuit racing would be asking a bit much, well if you wanted to be competitive anyway.

i'd talk to an engineer about it, and it'd take a fair bit to get made road legal. at a guess you'd need custom mounts and your gearbox tunnel widened along with a custom driveshaft, a fair bit of work to get the nine inch in there (think its about $1000 to get one of these shortened with custom mounts) and some nice big disc brakes for the front. at least it'll be easy to wire

i suppose if you've got your mind set on it then at least it'll be damn quick in a straight line.

imagine how fast this thing would go, and the burnouts it would rip :D

we arnt to worryed about certing it az it wont be a day to day car just be for burnout comps and drag mets.things like mounts and making the gearbox tunnel bigger are no probs az bout 4 of our mates work at a big enginering company.were thinking by the time we strip it out itll be down around the 800kg mark(not to sure) and with 350 to 400hp those are some numbers we want to put together :twisted:
