they dont really take too long to learn. it put the shits up me when i first got mine and had to drive back from auckland to wanganui after just driving there to get it, was a bit dicy comin down the paraparas the first time. after a while tho ya can push them really hard, especially with a good suspension and tire setup (as mentioned above)
only time i think that they are really dodge is in the wet!!! but dodge = fun
unless ya hit somethin.
they are just plain scary on gravel tho!!

ha i have been tryin to sell mine too for $7.5k fair bit of interest but nobody has come up with the cash yet. damn the AA for not lettin a buyer get my car because it was over 10yrs old.

I have to disagree there. I have had mine on gravel and its a bloody hoot :D The car actually gives you some notice when its about to swing the tail around on you so you can countersteer earlier and hang the tail nicely out round that bend, i actually feel safer on gravel than I do on the open road in the pouring rain.

eh. i only drove it on gravel like once and decided that that was enough, partly cos i dont want my new paint all chiped and partly cos i cant afford to stack it. but i do know of a guy in wangas with a mr2 set up as a full rally car... he does fkn well too.
i would prefer my rolla on gravel tho, that thing flew and was far more predictable.

I only took my car out on the gravel once, and I thought it was bloody hilarious! It gave so much notice it was about to swing...agree with Al, they feel better on gravel than they do on the wet road!
