I personaly own a st185. And havnt had a regret to this day. They are surtenly the best looking out of the three and handle awesomely. Sure they seem heavy at first but once the airflow is cleared up, they go damn well. But in the end its what ever youl be happy with in the end :D

Well guys I thank you for your input, you all made some nice points. Here in the westIndies a gtir is about 18000.00 to 16000.00 depending on the age.The most expensive being the bz at around 26 to 32grand depending on age also,a gt four you can get for around 12grand.I think I might just get a gt-four because most of the gtir's here have either been pushed to hard or blown gear boxes.

A GTi-R will retain its value because of the fact that theres only something like 4000 (approx) in the world.
In actual fact, theres a Kiwi to be blamed for them not being in production anymore :?

But yea, a mate of mine has one and it's great fun :D
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

4000 in the world?!?!?! Are you kidding? Considering theres 5000 RC's in the world and how often you can find one of those compared to the abundance of gtirs it makes that figure impossible. Maybe there is 5000 of the RB model?

Well actually I think you will find there were 4500 GTI-RA which is the road version and only 500 RB spec GTI-R's produced.

Just happens that the majority of the cars are now in NZ lol

The only place I have ever seen that figure mentioned is on the GGON website. I think its probably more likely 45000 and 5000 which would make more sense because then the RB would qualify as a homologation model.

GTIR's were available in other places too, and we wouldnt have any of those in NZ - and also NZ isnt the only place that has got them second hand from Japan - there are heaps in aussie making those figures completely unrealistic compared with how many you see on the roads here.

I'm not sure how many years the gtir's were for sale for, but when toyota made 5000 rc's it took about 6 months - so if Nissan only made that few gtirs surely they would of been making them for no longer than a year?

Actually... heres some more concrete proof :D

Here's a club of 1300+ owners (that means 1/4 of the owners of all the gtirs ever produced belong to it!?!?!?)

And this link here:

http://www.gti-r.com/Reference/gtir_differencesb.jpg

Shows chassis numbers from 000001 - 150000

That same site also has data from Nissan japan explaining the homologation from both the RA and RB run out this year for Grp A and N. If the RB was homologated for Grp A there must have been at least 5000 produced to comply.

If I get this gt-four can some one tell me how I can get more airflow and what maxium boost I can get without changing enternals. The one I am looking at is bone stock no filter or exhaust. And another question for gt-four owners do you fell the torque in the car like other 2liter turbo cars, because I find in the gtir's you really feel it
