yeah well thats exactly the thing. told the guy i wanted a 10mm drop, so got them compressed 10mm but now it sits exact same height as before. so im wondering if hes bull shittin me.

thing is the struts didnt need to be shortened, so im thinkin that the amount compressed has been cancelled out by the springs themselves as they may have been that tight within the strut before, which therefore stopped any drop from happening. (hope that makes sense!)

SAS said to me it cost $120 to compress all 4 springs. but u have to take and fit your self, but a mecanic would do that for like $100

yeah it is quite cheap to compress them but i wouldnt know how to take the springs out. plus ive got super strut which makes it for difficult to get the front ones out if you dont have a hoist.

i didnt actually get them compressed, i got my progressives retentioned which from what ive been told is basically the same as compressing, because i got part of a coil in the front springs "removed"
