roughly how much would it cost to get the rings done on a blacktop? If its as much as i think it could be, might be tempting to wait until summer and send the engine away for modifiddling at the same time

There's a good chance i could get hold of a compression tester if you want! well known that 20 valves use a bit of oil but as long as your compression is sweet shouldn't be a problem! anyhow give us a yell if ya want to borrow it and i'l find out where it is for ya!

just startin use ferkin oil again, and a lot more.... i do way too much cold running on it, barely gets warm going to massey before i gotta turn it off again. I know they use oil, but i wouldnt mind doing a compression check at least jimmy, that would be mint...
