1st project, need help on tech.

hey, just wanting help on some ideas for a project, not sure on the car as of yet. but im thinking on the lines of a 80s corolla.
1stly ideas ive thought of for performance
either 3s-gte or 4agze (not sure on what else i will need there xept loom,ecu ect.)
no idea on what suspension and brakes are good/cheapish.
any ideas would help this brainstorm

Any A series engine will be 10 times easier than an S.

Why not go stylish, and build a 3SGE, lumpy arse cams, raised compression, decent valve springs, etc, and get it revving up to 9k...

Cause 4age/4agze engines with the right cams and tuning will rev upwards of that.........plus the reliability and simplicity of the 4age engines make it a great first choice.

Thats why i choose it, im only just beginning the rebuild as well.

Would strongly recommend them as they are great starters, but have enough to lead you on to bigger and better things.

I would opted for a 4ag engine seeing as this is your first project. If it makes things ne easier I drop my 4age into my corolla at the sametime and tell you what problems occur.
GT4- Heavy lug of a car that could plough a road to china.

4age huh? i guess thats a good idea being that a fx-gt can doner that right.
not sure on that im gonna do with it. thanx 4 the ideas
