Fuel pump wiring

Postby Stealer Of Souls » Wed Jul 14, 2004 7:41 pm

Okay... this may seem stupid... but...
The two wires are power and ground? I'd hate to start making mods and finding out I'm wrong... also... does the ground go straight to ground? Or through somewhere/something else first?

some require some sort of a signal through the ECU, or a fuel ECU...

I know the guys in the US have trouble in the JZA80 (MKIV's) when wiring up dual Walbros or any 2 pumps for that matter, and need to run one of them on the stock wiring and the other on a relay...

i guess the AE8*'s wouldnt have that affected would it? :o

Then yes the earth is straight to ground. Power comes from a fuel pump relay controlled from the ECU.
