Input shaft bearing?

Postby 86 Power » Tue Aug 10, 2004 10:54 pm

Is it hard to change the input shaft bearing on a T50? Whats the procedure? I have a haynes manual. But the procedure is for a full strip down and rebuild.

Easy mate!
Take it apart as per manual, then remove counter gear from box, thenif you lift the main/tail shaft up you will be able to slide the input shaft off, press bearing off and then new one on. Reassemble in reverse order. When you pull then input shaft off be sure to catch all the internal rollers and put them back in when you reassemble it. 8)
