just pop them up and all u need is a screw driver.

- take the plastic cover off that surrounds the light (2 or 3 screws each side)
- unscrew the chrome frame that holds the glass in
- pull the whole thing out, unplug it at the back
- now with the glass inclosure out, pull the rubber cover off the back
- under the rubber cover is a metal ring that you turn until it lines up with the slots then pull it off
- the bulb should be loose now
- put new bulb in, without touching the glass.

- now do all that backwards

lol its just one of those jobs where you just keep pulling stuff off till you figure it out. Its really easy man.

prob just an earth lead from the bulb, if all ure other lights are working, and its not the bulb... check the earth leads.

sometimes the plug contacts are screwed with corrosion and shitt too, dont know if its common on AE86's tho..

does it flash, as well as high beam, coz thers two switches, check the switch on the steering column.. if u know how to use a multimeter..

its best if u think of it as just a basic curcuit, coz thats what it is, a power source, a switch(es), RELAY, bulb, ground.

u know how to use a testlight? just earth the clip and prod, if the light comes on, therz current at that curcuit, just give it a prod around, see were u can find power, and if u find no current in one curcuit, trace it to were the break is, coz its parrallel curcuit, not all lights will fail if one does.

hope this helps 8)
