Should be fine, the arches are the same size/depth as our AW11, and we have 195/60/15's with no rubbing issues...

I have 195/50/15s on my ae82 and I only notice the the back wheels touching the guards when I go over big bumps at high speed. I don't know what offset the wheels are though.

I've been looking at upgrading from 14/185 to 15/195(205) and was wondering if it'd fit my ae82 fxgt~ i guess it will~

Just wondering how one would go about rolling the gaurd because i'd prefer 205~

I managed to lose traction to the top of 3rd gear the other day(145ish).. admittedly the road was wet(not raining)... but made me think "time for phatter tyres bro"~

do you know the offset of the wheels or the profile of the tyres?
It would be difficult for anyone to give a 100% answer without these details.

Yeah, as said the profile and offset are as important as width and diameter. Plenty of people get reasonable sized mags and they simply wont fit or rub like a bitch just because its slightly wrong offset. I've got 215/35/18s on my Levin which is lowered and guards haven't even been rolled. Rubs on one corner on the inner gaurd on big bumps but thats it, where as others have trouble getting 16s to fit right.

ok well the guy says the profile of the tyres is 50
and he doesnt know what the offset is but it says something like this on them:
YHI 0006
15X6 1/2 JJ
ET 4|0

does that make any sense to anyone?
cheers

U preferably want 35 offset as the 40 may rub on the inner strut without spacers so quite simpily no they will not do :D
Ps et 40 is the offset :D
