selective 4a-ge q's

hey guys.
gotta few questions regarding my 4a-ge. Any info will be mint.
Remembering its a AE82 Bluetop tvis

1. the last couple of days ive been untangling this headache that is my wiring loom. Heres an ecu pic, one of the ecu plugs has been cut, are these cut wires go behind dash, coz they dont connect to the loom anywere. And does anyone know a link that i could find a wiring diagram?

2. My distributor uses magnetic pulse switching device, and somehow the shaft limited to a 90 degree turn each way, I later found what was limiting it from rotation. The pickup coil is portruding out, and hitting the trigger wheel, stopping it from rotating fully. Should i replace the stationary pickup coil? or can this be fixed, if yes, then what should the clearence between the two?.

3. Theres a mounting point with two bolt holes on the top left side of the tvis manifold, something should be bolted here, what? Handy pic

As long as the sensor still works you can just adjust up the air gap.
Sometimes it will damage the windings though.
It should have about the same as a plug gap.
They arent too sensitive too air gap as they sense pulse frequency not pulse voltage. If the gap is too big it will cut at below 500revs that's all.
You cant use a feeler blade unless it's a plastic one so just set it by eye.

Not too sure on that one. Is the head threaded to take a bolt?

how is this gap set? i had a play with a flat head screwdriver and it seemed stubborn, dont wan brake no sheot

yup theres two threads in the head, thers one bolt in place in the pic.

get another one
if you know the right people it sould be free

yes the air gap as it also works on ethier the trailing or leading edge
so a little diffrence there can make your rotor to cap timming hard to set

as i said geta replacement
if you can find io i may be abile to help

i just looked at my bone stocker aw11 and it has nothing there ethier

Ive got a few spare dizzys lying round. You still after the loom and flywheel?

As for the bolt hole on the T-VIS manifold, my engines also have tho hole, but nothing bolted to it.

Probably for the engines that have emission control

seems unnnececary to replace the whole dizzy just coz of a incorrect pickup. Ill see what i can do 1st, but ill keep the offer in mind.

ChaosAD: no I have those parts thanx. Did i ask you for them in the past?

And, Club4ag doesent seem to load on my server, can somebody plaese either email me a wiring diagram/ecu pin-out or refer me to another link please? any help would be mint

ChaosAD is right the bolt hole's are there for emission control, there is a hose the goes in there to a regulator and then to the exhaust.

See if these work, if they don't I can email you the pages if you like. I couldn't find an ae82 one though, only the ae86/92 ones.
