...o...k...
k i wont question this one..
yes a you can down-grade 100cc and fit a 3k from a KE35, into a KE70, why you would want to i wont ask.. but yes it will bolt straight in. you dont need the ke35 box as well, unless there is no box in your ke70.

if you are looking for performance, i suggest you save some time (and humiliation) and just fit the 3k head on the 4k. you will get much better results from that and its a piece of cake.

but if you do fit the 3k in place of the 4k, please send me some pics of that, as i think it would be a good laugh too see someone went through the effort

HAHA a 2K, the max speed would be like 80!

Yeah a 3k would bolt straight in, it would be WAY slower though, like as slow as a 2k starlie, which is SLOW....

You cannot use a KE35 box as the shifter comes out in a different place, more foward so you'd have to cut a hole in the tunnel, and it would make it poo to drive.

actually the K engine is almost 100cc larger than the 2k.
but you probably will never find one anyway.

Thats the same reason that weve got one here, Dad wanted to have "Just in case"
Not sure where it was sourced from, but Dad was with Toyota for 30years so he had a few contacts around the place
