Why not look beyond the usual mass market stuff and consider Tokico?

They are a specialist company and manufacture considerably superior products for a, far toooo, cheap price.

My 5c worth...

Had Monroe GT Gas in the old corolla wagon.. they seemed okay...
KYB in the AE85.5 and they're harder than the monroes... Both seemed okay though...

trade price at one of my suppliers.
that was for my car tho, but id say most inserts would be roughly the same.

Yes, please PM me for a quote on Tokico, I will help you, but please remember that choosing product because of price (low or high) can be a mistake. Warranty, suitability, availability, and ease of buying can also be important.

I would definitely recommend kyb's. Very little body roll and great handling.

Koni's are fine for what you pay for them, the only hassle I've ever had is getting them serviced properly but there is options for this that don't include STOCKS. I haven't run Monroe's in ages but in a Falcoon,Commonwhore they are ok. I have had issues with KYB's & warranties on them, they reckoned there was nothing wrong but why did a new set suddenly transform the car even though the first set hadn't even done 5,000km's & why did my dyno show a difference between the first set I brought & the second set if the first set were stuffed. I can go on & tell stories about most shocks/forks etc but as said above you get what you pay for & stick to the name brand recommended stuff like everyone else uses if your not sure.
