Wiring help, no start

ok well im working through a manual conversion. Im still going to run my Auto ECU untill i get my new gear in two or so weeks. I've been looking at wiring diagrams so has my bf but we still can't work out the exat wire to ground for the neutral start. Anyone have a clue? This is on a aw11 mr2 by theway. Also anyone got a vlue how we wire up the reverse lights?

Any help is appreciated.

if you unplug the original auto shifter the will be 2 wires in the loom usually bigger than the rest and if you join them it completes the circuit as if it is in neutral,
to make sure u have the correct wires trace them, it will come from the ignition circuit / key switch. to the nuetral switch and thru to the starter or starter relay.

the reverse lights should come of the reverse switch on the gearbox generally just a 2 wire switch from memory , and should plug straight in,

thanks dude. Will have a look over the wekend when we start the conversion. Whats the best way to join the two wires? solder the together?

yea thats all i did, a bit of heat shrink and it was all good.

Just to add.....It's usually a 3 pin round plug. 2 thick wires and 1 thin wire. Short the 2 thick wires together and leave the third one alone.
