1.5JZ's and ECU's

Firstly for those who are unfamiliar with the 1.5JZ, it’s a combination of the 1JZ and the 2JZ. In this case it’s the JZA80 Supra engine block and the JZA70 Supra engine head.

What I’m wondering is, is it possibly to run the 1JZ ECU with such a setup? Would the 1JZ ECU cope with 500cc more?

MKIII JZA70 Engine = 2500cc
MKIV JZA80 Engine = 3000cc ( A Stroked version of the 1JZ)

Yes in a perfect world one would have an aftermarket ECU. I’m just wondering for poops and giggles without the aftermarket ECU.
