Postby shaggz » Wed Dec 15, 2004 3:20 pm

hey i got a 99 rolla wagon i think its the 4fe engine in it 1.6 litre non turbo etc,ive done a pod and exhaust and was jst wondering coz i have nos going in, would this make i way bigger performance improvment than a turbo or supercharger???? anyone got any ideas, the nos will be soon a 75hp jet injection, mainly jst for a bit of fun i dont expect it to be a supa fast car
drive it till it breaks, then upgrade it

I think a turbo/super charger would make a bigger improvement than nos.

But the nos will be some quick cheap fun... as long as you don't kill the poor thing

It will be a 4AFE, not a 4FE. Wet or dry Nitrous system going in?

Use a wet system so you don't blow the thing to buggery, I doubt the injectors will keep up on a dry system.

I would not trust a 4afe on nos. I'm pretty sure its illegal to use nos on public roads and you run a huge risk of blowing a piston or gasket.

If I were doing this i'd use a thicker metal gasket.
