2wd hilux front brakes and lux diff ratio

Postby TruenoBoy » Tue Jan 25, 2005 12:02 pm

How easy/hard is it to put the 4 piston front calipers from a surf onto a 2wd hilux? Can I just swap the calipers over? or will I need the whole disc etc?

17" wheels on the hilux so should fit behind them?

Also anybody know what the diff ratio is in a 2wd hilux, lsd and non lsd?

For the diff ratio look at the chassis plate, will say something along the lines of G284 (4.3 non LSD), G285 (4.3 LSD), G294 (4.1 non LSD) or G295 (4.1 LSD). If its different from those there are quite a few sites on the net you can decode it from.
