there's a guy in whangarei who did the conversion into his 4wd hilux who's got a good article on the web somewhere, just trying to find it.......

http://www.geocities.com/deonsv8hilux/

also phil bradshaw has wired and helped out with heaps of 1uzfe conversions and also manufactures and sells gearbox adaptor plates so you can run w5* or r154 gearboxes with the engine. i'm not sure on his contact details but he's got a website too:

http://home.clear.net.nz/pages/phil.bradshaw/INDEX.HTM

he hasn't updated it for a while (2000ish) and most of the info on the site is about 4age's but he is way into lexus v8's these days (he's putting one into a early 30's ford and last time i went out there he was wiring up 7 engines for various people) but there'll be contact details on there somewhere.

good luck
Matt

phill bradshaw also sells a complete kit which includes, custom made flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, and bell housing adaptor plate,
all very very high quality.
if your interested and you cant get his contact details leave your number on here and ill get him to give ya a call.

im sure if your after mounts etc,
one of the guys who do these conversions regularly could sell ya a set.

yo..
we have done this conversion and its relatively straight forward. the conversion kit we used is from castlemaine rodshop in australia and at about $1500 nz for everything including flywheel and heavy duty clutch it was well worth the money... gearbox needs to be shifted forward (in a -N65 series anyway) for cylinder head - firewall clearance, which means shortning front driveshaft and lengthening the rear one. custom crossmember and engine mounts are also needed but are very simple to make if its a solid axle model.. the sump will need to be trimmed for diff clearance. the handbrake needs relocating inside the firewall. 2.4 diesel turbo radiator and twin mazda fans are cheap and work fine. factory lexus EFI will work if you get the right ECU. the oil filter needs to be relocated on some v8's. sounds like a major but its pretty straight forward. if you need any more info yell out...
