and the truck thing - i ment the length of it, not the actual force required.

im saying since its shorter, but still was easy to change gear..... ie - shortening it didnt change the resistance etc.

still, needs to be shorter, ill get a short shifter kit l8ter on :).

Ive had a TRD quickshift in my AE101 GTZ for 2 1/2 years now,
2nd gear synchro is getting a bit tired but it wasnt 100% when I got the car.
Couldnt imagine driving the car without it!
If it doesn't fit, force it.
If it breaks it needed replacing anyway!

^^ What he said. Got a short shift in the GT Four and its beautiful :)
2nd gear is a dirty crunchy wh0re, but other than that its brilliant ... feels like I'm rowing a boat when I drive other cars :lol:
