HELP!! 4age ran then stopped

Postby crispy'86 » Thu Mar 03, 2005 7:55 am

I'm running a n/a 4age in a AE92 GTZ trueno. Using the loom from an ae92 and ecu (auto teueno). I'm using the original ignition switch from the gtz and the wires for the plug to the switch are a different configuration. I've had the engine running but went to drive it and it hesitated then when i stalled it, turned off the ignition switch off the dash light was still on. Electric fans still ran until i unplugged the black/red wire. I'm matching up the right colurs between the two plugs to the switch; but when i put my mulitimeter across the black/orange wire there is 8volts. I've got a wiring diagram but this b/o wire shouldn't be getting 12v should it? After all this engine ran now it doesn't which makes me feel it's ignition related. Looking in the wiring diagram the b/o wire is for the coil etc but i haven't got 12v at ANY coil wires, (2 pin small plug) fuses are all goo but will check again tonight, anyone got nay suggestions? Maybe the wires have to be plugged in differently?
