No spark on GT-R...any ideas?

Postby Liloss » Wed Mar 16, 2005 8:41 am

just put a new HG in the 89 st183 GT-R and pretty much got it back together, a garage was doing it as mates rates :D. turn her over and bam low compression in one cylinder and no spark, thought dizzy was in the wrong way so checked and it was fine. the spark side of things were sent away to get tested but, does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem if the parts sent away are fine? im not sure exactly what got sent away, i think it was just the coil pack and something else. Also this car is a slushbox (auto) anyone know where the kickdown cable runs to on the gearbox? im seriousley considering converting to manual once the funds come in...

cheers

What's the problem with the auto? Is it not kicking down or what?
