Hey all,
I have an ae92 levin, stock intake, air box, panel filter etc.
Have a few ideas how to do my cold air induction but not 100% sure what to go with.
OPTION ONE
Leave air box, and just put a k&n panel filter in the box. Run a pipe gathering cold air into the outlet of the air box.
What difference woudl this make to my engine? response? fuel efficiency etc?
OPTION TWO
Run a small stainless pipe off the throttle body, adaptor and a pod filter on the end. Then run cold air piping into that.
Will this get too hot in the engine bay? will this actually make any difference? Because ive heard this is no better than the first option.
OPTION THREE
Probably the most expensive but will run a larger stainless pipe off the throttle body running it down to the front guard/bumper. WIll have pod filter on the end.
Is this the best option?
What brand of filter should i use? Willing to do it properly and go for a good brand, dont want to waste my money. Want BEST RESULTS possible.
Could anyone please post up some pics of their set ups and the pros/cons behind them. Any help would be awsome.
