How hard is it to remove the cam from my 2y, can i just whip it out the front of the block or does it involve taking the motor out?
Also who knows of a good place in auckland that do cam grinds.

But yea, help me out. Someone must have worked on this dinasour of an engine.

You need to remove rocker cover and rocker shaft then push rods.
Then Im unsure if you can get the cam followers out through the top but i would say you should be able to then pull the cam out the front.
If you dont get the cam followers out the will prevent you getting the cam out as they drop down and hit the next lobe as you pull it out.

I will probably be taking the head off to get "adjusted" at the same time so will this make the process easier?
Do i need to replace the head studs when i replace the head?
What else will i need to do when i put the cam back in and head on.

Need some more info. How long will it take to get the head and cam out approx?
