4K conversion to 4A-GE

my mates are currently reconditioning and starlet 4K, i was just wondering if the rwd gearbox (t50 i think?) would bolt onto a 4A-GE?? any help would be great thanks!

If the box is off a 4k then it will be a K40 (4spd) or K50 (5spd) to suit a k series motor and will not fit a 4age. You can, however, bolt a K40 or K50 from a 3au motor on to a 4age. This is a much cheaper option than trying to find an a-series T50, just not as strong.
