Hey team,
Just a quick question about suspension. Will the super strut shocks and springs from a AE101 fit in a superstrut model AE111?
Basically are they the same?

I agree. But I think that Toyota has upgraded the bushings they use in the ae111 s/strut joints to a longer lasting compound for better reliability. That's due to alot of the joints in the ae101 models flogging out. God knows that I've rebuilt enough of them.

the actuall s/s arms are different though..... havent measured any to see if the arms are swappable.....

there different in the sense that on the ae111 the ball joint on the arms are tappered instead of straight with a locating bolt. so i guess if you changed the flange plate that bolts onto the bottm of the hub you would then be able to swap between models.
