speed bell

Postby baker » Tue May 10, 2005 10:39 pm

I recently took my car on the motorway for the first time the other day (ae92), and found that it has a really loud, ear pearcing bell that goes off when you hit 105 - 110. does anyone know how to stop this? i havnt had a look at it yet but some advice would be good before i pull my dash apart.

any tips would be much appriciated.

cheers

Its screwed to the back of the speedo cluster, easy as to remove once you have that off- two screws. Did it on my old ae92.
There is also an earth for it down the centre console, but that probably earths something elas in the dash assembly.
