starlet struts

Hey, just failed wof on kp60 starlet for front struts, im havin trouble findin suitable replacements and was wantin to know if there is struts from another car that will fit? cheers for any help

i assume that yurve failed on the inserts rather than the
strut assys?
pull im out and replace the inserts.if yurve got
lowered springs get hold of stocks or a kyb supplier and get a pair of 363030 short inserts-which from memory also fitted into early 323s.
otherwise just get standard length inserts.
havent found any direct bolt in strut assys .

Yeh i think its the inserts the mechanic was talking about, he said to go the shock shop and get them re-conditioned but as he said this would cost me $250 inc labour i was hoping there would b a cheaper alternative!!
