Potential defective master cylinder?

Postby TygerTung » Sun May 15, 2005 6:20 pm

I've just put in a new master cylinder in my car, it is the model with TWO resiovors.

Now the resiviour for the rear wheels seems to be losing fluid, I've checked alll the piping, and the rear wheel cylinders, and there doesn't seem to be any leaks there!

Now the front one seems to be overflowing with fluid? Do you think it could be possible that the master cylinder is defective, and it's pushing fluid from the rear wheel resiviovour to the front wheel resiviour?

Maybe I need to take my resiovour back?

So they are completly seperate from front and rear resiovors yes?...if thats the case it does sound like it may be getting some 'blow by' (to tyred for correct term) and not returning evenly.
