TVIS power - batt or ign?

Postby l1ttle_d3vil » Mon May 16, 2005 10:31 pm

now that ive got the 4age running nicely and consistently (i think!) im wiring everything up permanently.
my TVIS plug has 2 wires, one which goes to the ECU which activates the butterflies, and a black/yellow one which im guessing is power. should I run this to a constant 12v power source? or should it be wired up to only have power when the ignition is on (acc or something)? or does it work either way...

cheers

ok just wire up a power feed through a 10A fuse, then to the tvis vsv via the ign switch, to run in the ON position.

then just run the other wire to the VSV 1 pin on the ecu. Its on the 10 pin plug iirc

The tvis vsv is bi-polar so it doesnt matter which wire goes where.
