where do these wires go? ('75 ke35)

Postby l1ttle_d3vil » Sat May 21, 2005 6:51 pm

im trying to find a suitable/easy way to wire my fuel pump up on my sr, ive seen it done by just running a couple of wires from a 4-pin plug in the boot by the fuel tank. i checked my loom out and ive got this same plug that doesn't plug into anywhere, its a 4-pin plug with three wires coming out of it. does anyone know what its for? ive checked with a multi-meter and none of the wires seem to be connected to any of the fuses so not sure where else to check, short of pulling my whole loom apart, which i'd rather not do...anyone got any idea where they go for?

oh yea and theres also no power on any of them with the key on and the car running.

cheers

i can do that, but thought it might be easier to just use those wires...if they had power.

Those wires could be anything. My mate has just completed a rotary conversion in his KE30..

We did it that way, just so we knew the wiring was new. Besides, taking shortcuts often come back and bite you in the ass, just do it once, do it right, otherwise make sure your AA premium is paid up. :D
