oil cooler setup for a 4age

Postby Peradx » Mon Jul 25, 2005 8:05 pm

ok I've got the factory plate to go between the block and filter. I know it gose from the plate to the cooler, what I don't know is where it gose to after the oil gose through the cooler.
Dose it go straight to the sump? or dose it go to the small pipe that is at the rare intake side of my head?(at the moment it is set up as a bypass to got back to the sump)

dont know about any factory plate
but i run mine with a remote oil filter system that feeds in to a cooler then back into the block " were the oil filter use to be "

no extra holes driled/welded anywere
this was the most cost efective way of doing things

yes, factory setup is, cooler, then sump... all u need now is to add cooler on the line before return to sump.
