Well the guy i got the engine and box off said the box was from an AE101.
Is there a way i can find out what model car it came out of?

What speedo sender did it come with a mechanical or an electric one as that's probably the only way I can think of telling?

Mechanical = AE92
Electronic = AE101

Its a mechanical speedo drive

Well then it's probably an AE92 Gearbox.
