ST215 Wastegate Actuator. Bent??

I recall seeing a post about someone with a bent wastegate actuator rod, which was suppost to be straight.
My question, is the actuator rod on a caldina GTT suppost to be straight, because mine has a few kinks in it. Is this normal on a caldina or has it been damaged?

It will most likely be normal, theyre bent to clear stuff. If your cars running like shit and over/under boosting or doing funny things worry bout it, if not, dont :P

Its 'bent' from factory, so as above if your car performs properly do not be concerned. Also FYI if you test your actuator with ~1bar of pressure the actuator arm should move approximately 18mm.

Santa how does what you said have any relevants in this post what so ever. Are you going to modify your car for real or just talk about all the things your going to do. You havent sorted your springs and shocks out yet and your ranting and raving about an intercooler. I think you should show some pics or it didnt happen.

i was asking in relevance to see if anyone had pics to compare with mine.
well actually i do have the the springs sitting in my shed, shocks are being ordered after payday....
im pricing up intercoolers as well - i just want to make sure i go about it the right way, right size etc as im not an expert in that particular field
what would you like pics of?
i cant think of that many things i've said im going to do that i havent done really....

Cant see that a pic would clear this up. I'm not going to take the I/C off again, just to take a pic. Either its suppost to have a few kinks, or its suppost to be straight.
99GT, Mayby you could confirm that its suppost to have a few kinks in it the next time you take the top mount off?
My conclusion is that the kinks are normal though.
