Just get a second hand GReddy PRofec b. Easy as to use and setup. Both KiwiMR2 and myself have them and they hold the boost rock solid :)

And its JDM

There was one on trademe on the weekend with a $400 buy now.

we're running a blitz EBC in dads jza70, and it works mint (thanks nite_b!!) currently have two settings tuned in one is 1.15 bar and the other is .88bar. tuning was a bit of a problem as original book was all japanese, got most of it working though. then got proper one from blitz aussie and away we went! the unit is very good, but the product support from blitz aussie is amazing.

i second profec b.. very accurate boost control , a cool little blue/red display and they can be found fairly cheaply.every dyno graph ive seen with a profec has been dead flat.

after reading up I think i will go for the profec b II, now this may be a stupid question but will it allow me to run less boost than standard - i just can;t get my head around how that would work. btw i'm running an internal wastgate. current dyno http://www.hyautomotive.co.nz/images/dyno.jpg here shows it creeps up to 10.8, psi. with the profec would I be able to set a boost memory to run, for example, 6.5psi flat across?

Nope it wont allow you to run lower than your current lowest setting from my understanding. You'll need to adjust your actuator to do that.

Actually if you're talking about creep, a good ebc should be able to minimise that so you may be able to get the 6.5psi you're after.

what turbo setup / ecu are you running in your corolla?

3tgte w/standard ct20,
essentially only two modifications:
1. 2.5" exhaust right through (larger than standard, i assume this is in part why i'm getting more boost)
2. Supra intercooler, (note that the dyno sheet was non-intercooled)

I have disconnected the overboost fuel cut (cuts fuel @ 7ish psi, very annoying)
ECU & Knock control is standard
