AE 92 FXGT GEAR BOX PROBLEM

Hi ive been cruzing my mates ae92 fxgt on last saturday night

and it has very weared problem

as it shifts 1st to 2nd it makes "CRUNCH" noise regardless fully floored clutch pedal, and it quite a lot of times stuk in 2nd gear if i tried to move to 1st or 3rd gear.

I couldn do stuff b cuz it was his car and he didnt want me to wrek it so i had to shift it very slow which looked i am very bad driver who cannot drive fxgt. (O sh!t may be i am lol)

So i had to change around 4000~5000 so i would not fudge the gear box!!!

it usually makes that crunch if rev more then 3000

SO I was wondering where the problem could b

and Reconditioning G/B would fix ther problem

or Replacing G/B would be better option then Reconditoning as Price wise?

syncro is rooted, common problem with c52's

whoat would u guys would say recon or replace???

for recon it will be pulled apart any way and has a chance of replacing syncro and mech said to him it will b two hundy for recon g.b

get another, my mrs ae92 gti had same prob, i put my old 4afe box which arent worth stuff all, and a 4afe box will sit at 3000revs = 100k's
where the factory ae92 box sit at about 3500 = 100k's.
