Me, dodgy, never, I mean what do you expect for a turbo I was prepared to sell for a dollar? ;). Seriously all I did to that turbo was nick the wastegate flap circlip, it was working perfectly within stock parameters on my car with stock cat/downpipe and the 80mm exhaust of doom.

anthony - I have actually heard of similar problems on Evo's now that you mention it, where a good downpipe can cause overboosting, but the wastegate port of a TD05 is quite a bit smaller than the combined ones on a ct20b I'd think. It's a little reassuring to hear that your XS power pipe isn't causing overboost, although that could just be because your turbo is so crap and you need to by mine back :D

Maybe, but if I can get it to work it'll be a zero lag turbo with no pesky ceramic wheel and >350hp . Worth persisiting with I think, and I think I have worked out what the problem is now :D.
