Anyone welds aluminium on Shore, on Weekends?

Postby sergei » Thu Nov 24, 2005 7:53 am

Hi, anyone welds aluminium on Shore (or auckland), on weekends?
I need to weld a 19mm diameter pipe to a side of a 76mm diameter inlet pipe, for my cranshaft ventilation hose... Anyone can do it? I will pay.

Thanks.

Thats all pretty right, it does weld together but its real hard to do a good weld, and aluminium doesnt like high tempreatures either.

Depends what type of aluminium, some Al Cu alloys cant be welded, like ones found in planes, hence all the rivits and glue

Edgells welded my boss into the alu i/c pipe, and it's a very good job welldone. But I don't think they'll do it in the weekends tho.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
