Drive train clunking???

Postby LOMOFO » Tue Nov 29, 2005 10:14 pm

I have an LSD gearbox on an ae101 4agze, and have a clunking noise coming from the passengers side somewhere in the drive train.
The noise is most prominent during de-accelleration but stops when the clutch is released.
I think i have narrowed the noise down to something in the box possibly the diff?
Does anyone have any ideas what it may be? and if this problem is at all common?

Maybe be that the inner flange on ya driveshaft is worn and has abit of play in it.
