ee80 @#$@% heater

ee80 corolla sedan. heater only works on speeds 1,2 not 3,4.

it seems always warm :lol:

any ideas? have checked fuses,hoses, wiring etc etc
60% of the time it breaks every time

no help to offer, but my ae80 seems to only work on 3 and 4
which is ok, either its off, or full bore.
TVIS just kicked in, yo!

If it's always warm the heater tap could be seized open.

I think hes talking about the fan speed 8) , and Vertigo, id be looking in the direction of the resistor pack also.

test the thermistor out for resistance. if it's faulty replace it, The wires for the coil may be broken by sound of it
