T50 bellhousing to gearbox bolts

Postby AE85.6 » Wed Dec 07, 2005 10:36 am

basically im after 4 of these,

Im just wandering if these bolts are the same as ones from other boxes like k50s etc ? as this increases parts to look through to find some

unless anyone has any surplus that they want to get rid of which would be greatly appreciated.

they are 9-10mm diametre, about 38mm long from the bottom of the washer and have about 10mm of shank with no thread at the top.

cheers

Just had a look thorugh all of my '$&#$% I hope there was meant to be bolts left over' containers and didnt really find anything that matched, ive got K50, K series, 4AGE Suspension bolts of all sorts and none are similar. Maybe put up a pic of one so I have more of an idea.

Or alternatively, go do to a parts retailer i.e Repco and see if they have them. Remember to make sure theyre high tensile.

I just got some bolts off the shelf ad my dads engineering shop for mine, they are probably only about $4 each or something.

Jebus:
i could pxt you what they look like if that helps but dont have a digi cam thats all. oh ok i didnt realise these were high tensile ones and it didnt cross my mind that they could be either as they are not flexing and it is supported. there is a number 6 on the head of them i thought high tensile would be 8 or higher ?

l1ttle_d3vil:
ye new ones from toyota are only like $5 too but have to be shipped ex jap land which i was trying to get around :P

I think mine have got 8 on the head. I can get a proper price for you tonight if you want. If you throw some $$ my way I should be able to send some up to you.
