Does anyone Know of any sites or have any good info on knife edging a crank shaft.Have done a search and found jack! :?

iv read a coupla books that touch on it.....
maybe you need to go to the library :D

It was either Carroll Smith or A Graham Bell that wrote and gave details on knife edging the trailig edge of the crank. It makes sence in the fact that you are in effect creating an aerodynamic wing. Good luck with the balancing... oh, and I wouldnt try and do this on an old crank without magnufluxing. You would be amazed at the amount of cranks that still function perfectly with a googleplex of cracks.
