wires at the back of the dash cluster in an AE111...

Just wondering if anyone know which wire at the back of the dashboard tells you what speed the car is travelling at...? Installing a head up display unit in and duno which one is it... nor do I know how to test which wire is which...any help would be greatly appreciated

Get a pin out diagram for the ecu. See what colour the speed wire is and hopefully its the same at the other end?
