Defi gauge question

Postby method » Fri Dec 16, 2005 8:16 pm

Was just wondering if anyone has tried using a BF series gauge with the first control unit?

Someone has told me they work and the defi site didnt say that it *wont* work on the old control unit but was wondering if any of you guys have tried?

I have the standard link series gauges and they all go sweet, but i have the option to get some BF series gauges and am considering it rather than more link series gauges.

Cheers.

if you were just after the black face style, pick up some "Stealth Gauges" off trademe, tiny price compared to a proper Defi Setup.

Altho, telling a chick you run Defi gauges will most certainly get you laid, so im not sure, you choose.
I had vtax :(

Well thing is when I'm going around a track pushing my car to its limits id like something a little more than a few $40 7 colour trademe gauges looking after 25K worth of car.

If you want gauges for looks fine, i actually use them to keep a eye on how the engine is doing so knowing your getting a acurate reading is quite comforting.

Yeah i may just get a version 2 control unit. Thing is i already have a version 1 controler and gauges all set up.
