help my 4age now sounds like a subaru!!!???

Postby SpeedRacer » Mon Dec 19, 2005 5:20 pm

umm, yea as above, was driving round town quietly, went to floor it and it sound like a wrx crossed with a harley now.
Don't know why, just happened, at forst thought it was just my car trying to stall (low revs in 2nd gear)

car is an AE92 trueno with a red top 16v tvis

thinking it is either a sparker not firing? but when you hit 4.5-5.5k rpm it goes back to normal, feels like a turbo kicking in

any help appreciated :D

It will be a miss fire of some sort. First thing to do is check and replace as needed the spark plugs, leads, distributor cap and rotor.

hav fixed it by trial and error, sparker #2 is out :S

if it ddnt affect power i'd leave it, it'll use more fuel, but u shldnt notice it. hopefully

Anyone selling a set of TRD sparkers? might as well get some good ones.
